When you accept an offer, you pay through Zoomies and the money is held by our escrow partner TradeSafe. It's only released to the Tasker when you confirm the job is done (or automatically a few days after they finish, if you don't respond). If something goes wrong, raise a dispute and the money stays on hold while our team helps.
Every Tasker is checked by our compliance team before they can work: ID, a selfie with their ID, proof of address, a bank confirmation letter and a police clearance certificate (plus trade certificates for plumbers and electricians).
Phone numbers, email addresses, social media and street addresses are hidden in messages, offers and questions until a booking is paid. Your exact address is only shared with the Tasker you book, and location data is removed from every photo.
